Rolf is an Associate Professor for Computer Science at Temple University in Philadelphia, USA. His research focuses on Computer Vision and Robotics.
Back in 1985, Rolf co-founded Germany's first game-software company, magic bytes. Entering the new economy, he co-founded the VoIP (Voice over IP) company Nikotel.
Rolf holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics and was awarded multiple grants from major US funding agencies, as well as the Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching.
