Scott Francisco is the founder of Pilot Projects Design Collective in New York City. A hands-on designer, strategist and cultural theorist, his design focuses on the resonance between infrastructure and culture, and the intentionality that each embody. His work places a high value on engaging people, culture and craftsmanship in the design process, a form of resistance against today’s overemphasis on data, quantification and efficiency.
Scott also teaches design at the Parsons The New School for Design and speaks regularly on workplace, organizational culture and sustainability. He holds a Master of Science in Architecture from MIT and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Toronto.
